Site subscriptions are purchased individually for each published site after you surpass the number of sites included in your account plan. These can be purchased on monthly or annual basis and can include the Store Add-on. After purchasing, you can downgrade, cancel, or change the billing cycle for site subscriptions. You can also disable auto renewal billing or change the billing frequency for site subscriptions.

Cancel Site Subscription

You can cancel site subscriptions by disabling auto renewal. Your site will remain live until the end of the billing period. To take your site offline immediately, unpublish your site. To learn how to unpublish your site, see Unpublish a Site.

Note

These instructions are only relevant for users on Basic/Team/Agency/White Label plan. If you have a Site for Life subscription, contact support.

Disable Auto Renewal

If you no longer plan to use the site and want to end auto renewal billing, disable the site auto renewal.

To disable auto renewal:

  1. From the dashboard, locate the site in the list, hover over the three dots (

icon next to the site, and then click Site Overview in the menu.

  2. In the side panel, click Payment Info.

  3. At the bottom of the page, disable the Auto renew subscription toggle.

Your site remains published until the end of the site cycle, at which time it will be unpublished (see the site payment information page for the renewal date). The site subscription is active until the renewal date, even if the site is unpublished.

Note

If a published site’s auto-renew is turned off, the account owner will receive an email 7 days prior to the site cycle ending informing them it will be unpublished.

Change Site Subscription Billing Cycle

You can change your billing cycle from annual to monthly or from monthly to annual.

To change your site subscription billing cycle:

  1. From the dashboard, in the top navigation bar, click the avatar icon and then click Payment.

  2. In the Account plan box located towards the top, click the three horizontal dots icon and select Change billing cycle.

  3. If you are on a monthly billing cycle switching to annual:

    1. Click Change to Annual.

    2. Review your selected payment method, then click Purchase.

    3. Click OK, got it. Your annual plan starts immediately and is set to auto renew on the listed date.

  4. If you are on a yearly billing cycle switching to monthly:

    1. Click Continue.

    2. Click OK, got it. Your monthly plan begins when your current annual plan ends. Going forward, your subscription is set to auto renew each month.

    3. At any point before your annual subscription ends, you can cancel the change to monthly by clicking Cancel Changes. This will keep you on the annual plan and set it to auto renew.

Downgrade Site Subscription

Note

To switch from an annual to a monthly site subscription, or to a subscription that does not include eCommerce, disable auto renew following the steps in the Cancel Site Subscription section of this article. When the current site cycle runs out, you can republish the site and purchase a subscription for your site.

Warning

  • Turning auto renew off will unpublish the site at the end of the site cycle.

  • Once the site is published with the new plan, visit the site's payment page to ensure auto renew is on.

Downgrade eCommerce

You can downgrade your site plan from a plan with a paid eCommerce store to a site plan without eCommerce. The downgrade will go into effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Until the downgrade goes into effect, you will still have the paid eCommerce plan and all of its features. This is relevant for both third party and native stores.

Note

If you need to downgrade from a higher paid eCommerce plan to a lower paid eCommerce plan, contact support.

When you downgrade from a paid eCommerce plan, your store is turned into a demo store. It is important to note that demo stores do not accept online payments, support a limited number of products, and offer limited product options and filtering capabilities. After downgrading, we recommend you review your store to ensure features specific to paid plans are removed.

To downgrade your Site plan to a plan without eCommerce:

  1. From the Dashboard, in the top navigation bar, click the avatar icon and select Payments.

  2. Click the three horizontal dot icon next to Plan auto renewal and select Downgrade Plan.

  3. Click Downgrade Site.

  4. (Optional) Select a new billing cycle for your site plan. If you change the billing cycle, the new site plan starts the day the current cycle ends.

  5. Click Save & Finish.

  6. Click OK, Got it.

  7. If necessary, you can cancel the downgrade before it goes into effect by clicking Cancel Changes.

We recommend reviewing your site once the downgrade goes into effect in order to remove any pages or widgets that are no longer supported due to the downgrade.

Delete eCommerce Store

If you are on a demo store plan, you can delete the store. If you are on a paid eCommerce plan, you need to contact support to delete your store.

To delete a demo store:

  1. In the side panel, click Sell Online.

  2. In the top right corner of the store panel, click the three horizontal dot icon and select Delete store.

After the demo store is deleted, the following list of store pages and widgets will remain on the site. Make sure to review your site and remove unnecessary elements.

  • Cart widget

  • Search widget (native store only)

  • Log in widget (native store only)

  • Sort & Filter widget (native store only)

  • Product gallery widgets

  • Store homepage

Delete Site

Before you can delete a site it must be unpublished and the billing cycle must have ended.

To delete a site:

  1. From the dashboard, locate the site in the list, hover over the three dots icon next to the site, and then click Delete in the menu.

Note

If you have a Site for Life subscription, contact support.

Warning

Please be aware: Once deleted, sites can only be restored within a 30-day period. After this, restoration is not possible. To restore a deleted site within the 30-day window, please contact support at [email protected].
