Turn Your Store Into a Catalog (Third Party Store)

Turning your Store into a catalog is helpful when you need customers to request a quote for a product with customization options that will affect the final price. A catalog is also a good way to stay relevant with your customers when closing a seasonal business until sales resume or if you want customers to come visit your physical store to make purchases.

To turn your Store into a catalog, you need to disable your existing online payment methods and shipping methods.

To turn your Store into an online catalog:

  1. In the side panel, click Sell Online, then click Manage Store.

  2. Click Payment, then next to each payment method, switch the toggle to the off position to disable the payment method.

    Note

    If you want to collect quote requests in your catalog, do not disable payment methods. Add a note to the product description explaining how to contact you about purchasing the product and that the price listed is not final. Then, you can enable Offline Payments (Third Party Store) methods.

  3. Click Shipping & Pickup, then next to each shipping method, click Action and select Delete from the menu to remove the shipping methods.

We recommend adding a note to your Store homepage explaining that your Store is closed for the season or that products can only be purchased at your physical store. To learn how to edit your Store homepage, see Store Pages (Third Party Store).
